This is the section that changes decisions. Families routinely rule out a school on sticker price that would have cost them less than the in-state option once aid is modeled honestly.
The through-line an admissions reader should be able to see across everything the student does. Not a list of activities, one coherent story, plus a straight read on where the gaps are and what would close them in the time remaining.
Specific opportunities worth pursuing that demonstrate real depth in this student's field, chosen for this student rather than pulled off a generic list of impressive-sounding activities.
This is the section families are most surprised by. Real organizations near home, with contact details and whether they actually take high school interns. Not "get an internship," but which door to knock on and who answers it.
